Man admits Telford car jacking

A man has appeared in court following a car jacking in which the vehicle crashed into a wall.

Robert Wilson, 24, of Stafford Street, St Georges, Telford, admitted robbing Daryl Brown of a Vauxhall Vectra and cash and robbing Michael Matthews of cash on May 23.

He also admitted a charge of aggravated vehicle taking during the hearing yesterday at Shrewsbury Crown Court.

The vehicle was later in an accident. Judge John Gosling adjourned the case until September 7 for reports and Wilson was granted bail.
