Shrewsbury roadworks completed ahead of schedule
Shrewsbury town centre will be open as normal tomorrow after essential drainage and gas works at Mardol House were completed ahead of schedule.

Shoplatch was closed to traffic last Sunday while work on the new university student accommodation was carried out and a second closure had been planned for tomorrow to complete the work.
However, contractors Willmot Dixon took just one day to complete the work.
Visitors are reminded that under a new Sunday parking offer they can "pay £1 and park all day" in Shrewsbury's long-stay car parks, or pay £1 for the maximum stay period in short stay car parks.
