Bucket of drugs is seized by police

A bucket full of cannabis has been seized by police.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply the class B drug in Tenbury Wells.

West Mercia Police officers, along with a drugs search dog, found and seized what they described as a "very large amount of cannabis skunk" along with phones and laptops from a house in Bromyard Road.

The cannabis was in the kitchen of the property, stored in a bucket.

The man has been bailed until August 19 while further inquires are carried out.

PC Sarah Ransome-Williams, of Tenbury & Martley safer neighbourhood team, said: "It was great to have a positive result, it is our intention to keep Tenbury a safe place and seizing drugs of this type and in this quantity is an important part of that work.

"It was also a good opportunity to bring together the Leominster based patrol officers and my own local team on a single operation."
