Teenager assaulted in Telford robbery by two men in motorcycle helmets

Two men donning motorcycle helmets are being hunted by police after assaulting a a teenager and taking his bike during a robbery in Telford.

The serious robbery took place at Ardundel Close on Randlay Avenue area of Telford on Monday, June 15 at approximately 7.15pm.

The victim, an 18 year-old man and his friend, were approached by two men, one riding a blue green trail bike and the other on a yellow moped. Both suspects were wearing motorcycle helmets and demanded the mountain bikes from the victims.

Both victims were assaulted and received minor facial injuries.

The suspects managed to steal one of the mountain bikes which is described as a specialized P1 jump bike and is worth approximately £600, it is green in colour and is decorated with black skulls.

The suspects were seen leaving the area in the direction of Stirchley, one of the offenders had the stolen mountain bike over his shoulder as he rode away.

The first suspect is described as white, in his early 20's, of a large build, around 5 feet 8 inches in height and wearing a grey crash helmet, grey tracksuit and trainers.

The second is described as white between the ages 18 and 19, of a slim build, around 5 feet 5/6 inches in height and wearing black crash helmet, track suit which was mainly black with patchy grey arms, black Air Max trainers and had a black left eye and was missing his top right tooth.
