Fires at Shifnal industrial estate believed to be arson attacks

Two fires started at an industrial estate in Shifnal are being treated as arson, police have said, after £10,000 of equipment was damaged.

The first fire happened on Sunday between 7pm and 7.40pm at an industrial estate on Lamledge Lane, Shifnal.

Entry to the secured premises was gained by force and two fires were started inside drums on the site.

It is believed the fires spread out of control and caused damage to nearby machinery.

A second fire happened in the same location between 7am the following day and 7am yesterday.

This fire caused further damage to nearby equipment.

Anyone with information on this incident is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident number 105 of May 12 2015.
