Telford & Wrekin Council announced that Castle Farm Way, in Priorslee, will be closed northbound until the end of tomorrow.

The authority said works that have been carried out exposed problems with the road and a temporary surface needed to be put down.

Traffic will be diverted along Priorslee Avenue and the A5 Telford Way. The diversions will be in place for a total of three days.

Meanwhile, the council has announced surface dressing works in Telford and the surrounding area will begin on April 7.

The work will take place across 61 sites and is expected to be completed by early May – a full list of sites and dates can be found on the council's website at telford.roadworks.org

In Newport, roadworks will close Pave Lane to traffic for two weeks beginning April 7, but access to the road is expected to be maintained for residents and businesses.
