Michael Gilmore from Blakesmore Bank, Bayston Hill, pleaded guilty at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday.

The assault took place in July last year.

Mr Adrian Roberts, for Gilmore, said his client admitted the charge on the basis that he stroked the girl's stomach and legs.

The case was adjourned to April 27 and Gilmore was bailed.
