Welshpool police on alert as cats die after being targeted
One cat has died and another is fighting for its life after being poisoned in Welshpool.

Police are appealing for information after the two cats were found in the Prince of Wales Drive area of the Oldford estate. It is not yet known if the cats were targeted deliberately.
Constable Mike Clark of Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Police are investigating the poisoning of two cats in that area of town. It happened sometime overnight on February 2 into February 3.
