Inquest opening date in Whitchurch canal death case
An inquest is set to open on a 61-year-old man who was found dead in a canal in north Shropshire.

Robert Charles Kelly was found by a member of the public in a dry section of canal in Grindley Brook, near Whitchurch, on December 22. His inquest is due to open on Thursday at Shirehall in Shrewsbury.
Mr Kelly's death is not being treated as suspicious. It is understood he lived in the Whitchurch area.
News of Mr Kelly's death has been met with sadness and shock by the town's mayor, Councillor Rob Hewson.
