Letter: Farage's HIV comment hits at heart of border problems

In a snippet from a Nigel Farage interview he stated we should not take immigrants with HIV. This was picked up by many as an awful thing to say, but also picked up by many more  as spot on Mr Farage.

The NHS was set up for UK citizens, we as British taxpayers pay for that service and it is absolutely ridiculous that we should even consider taking immigrants with lifelong illnesses such as HIV.

The UK should not be taking any immigrants at all who have criminal convictions, or fall in to the groups of the sick the, infirm or the elderly how on earth can these people possibly benefit and contribute to the United kingdom?.

This is not a new concept, it is adopted by the USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and others and it is simply common sense. The UK seems to have lost any ability to actually say no.

We are seen by the rest of the world especially those in third world countries as a country which can be easily milked. The French have stated it is because we are so generous that they have major immigrant issues with immigrants heading for their ports in the hope of getting to the UK, the land of milk and honey. The French are correct on that view.

Our open borders from Europe are quickly becoming a problem for the UK as we are now seeing the problems caused by people entering this country with horrendous criminal records and life long illness.

Cameron attempts to accept we have issues in these areas but he is preoccupied with his Euro-sceptics and needs to bat them off on a daily basis as they fear for the future of the UK, he promises to ride to our rescue but he simply cannot do anything to stop the decline and possible future collapse of our services in the UK.

Miliband and his band of deluded politicians even now fail to accept we have a major immigration problems and all the ills which goes with it, they simply now bleat on about saving the NHS .

The Labour Party cannot save the NHS it is destined to crumble under the pressure of treating all non-UK citizens.
