The independent feature-length psychological thriller left audiences on the edge of their seats at Telford's Odeon.

The cast includes Hollyoaks star Terri Dwyer, who is best known for her role as Ruth Osborne in the British soap, as well as Jay Bryhan, Carol Cummings, Bob Sanderson and Anthony Webster.

It was written and directed by award-winning director Andy Dodd, from Telford, produced by Phoenix Laine and Andy Dodd and presented by Mangotree Films at the premiere on Sunday.

Speaking to the Shropshire Star, actress Terri said: "It was a great night. I actually had to sit with my hands over my face for the second part of the film.

"I played detective Holly Andrew and it was a great role for me because I've never worked on a horror before.

"Telford is such a great place to visit as well – it was fantastic."

The film tells the story of a man who is found crawling around, covered in his own blood, in a disused car park.

But he's not alone. Four dead bodies are found in the same place.

Through a series of flashbacks and interviews, the film slowly pieces together the events that took place that led to his incarceration and the grisly discoveries.

The film, which was shot entirely in Telford, was inspired by a true story.

Mr Laine, who helped to produce the film, said: "The premiere was a great success. There was more than 200 people there as well as the cast and crew.

"Andy got Terri involved after sending her a message on Twitter. It is fantastic that she could be part of the cast. It was filmed and made in Telford, so the premiere was a special occasion."

Guests at the premiere also enjoyed watching Mr Dodd's award-winning films It's a Love Thing and Some I Never Had.

They also made the most of an after-show gathering, where the cast and crew spent time meeting and greeting the cinema visitors.

Terri will be working with Mangotree Films again later in the year.
