Large cable reels stolen by thieves in Newport
Thieves escaped with thousands of pounds worth of armoured cable in a break-in at building site in Shropshire.

Two large reels of the cable and four smaller ones were taken in the raid at the site in Salters Lane, Newport.
A West Mercia Police spokeswoman said a precise value of the cable stolen was not known but it was thought to be worth "a few thousand pounds".
Any witnesses to the break-in, which happened between 5pm on July 18 and 7am on Monday, are urged to contact West Mercia Police by calling 101.
