Car crashes into wall of house in Ellesmere

A car crashed into the wall of a house in Ellesmere yesterday.

Firefighters were called to the scene of the accident in Scotland Street at 11am .

A structural engineer from Shropshire Council was requested by West Mercia Police to make sure the property was safe. The house is believed to have been empty at the time of the accident and no-one in the car is believed to have been injured.

Meanwhile, fire crews had to cut a driver from a car after it crashed into a wall on the A53 in Shawbury Heath, near Shrewsbury, just before 1.45pm on Saturday.
