£3,000 of scaffolding fittings stolen from Shropshire building site

More than £3,000 of scaffolding fittings have been stolen from a building site in Shifnal.

Four buckets containing grips and clamps which hold together the scaffolding poles were stolen from the Thomas Beddoes Taylor Wimpey housing development in Wolverhampton Road.

PC Nick Allbutt, from the Shifnal and Albrighton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said the stolen fittings had a total value of between £3,000 and £4,000.

They are believed to have been stolen some time between 5pm on Friday and 7am yesterday.
