Burglars net £10k in Telford raid haul

Nearly £10,000 in jewellery, cash and concert tickets has been stolen in a raid on a home in Dawley, Telford, police said this afternoon.

Thieves broke into the house in Station Road.

Seven tickets to see Calendar Girls at the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton, four tickets for Westlife and three tickets to see Dancing On Ice at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham were taken.

A man's gold bracelet, a woman's gold bangle with diamonds, and a white metal Pandora bracelet with eight charms ,were taken.

Also taken was a white metal charm bracelet full of charms, a gold 'hugs and kisses' bracelet, gold hooped earrings with diamonds, and two gold fillings, which were boxed.

Police say many items were of sentimental value.
