These Star Wars characters took Telford Shopping Centre by storm when they went on the march at the weekend. The Stormtroopers were promoting the annual MCM Midlands Comic Con Expo in Telford.

The event will take place on Saturday.

Adetomiwa Edun and Tom Hopper, who star in BBC fantasy series Merlin, based on the legends of King Arthur and the wizard Merlin, will be there.

They are fitting in the visit before filming for the fifth series gets under way in March.

Edun, who plays Gwen's brother Sir Elyan, and Hopper, who plays gentle giant Sir Percival, will take to the stage for a question and answer session at the show at Telford International Centre and will be signing autographs for fans.

Other special guests will include games director and Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, who will also be answering questions and giving a demonstration of his latest creation, Nintendo's new Wii role-playing game The Last Story.

Matches will get under way at 10am and will continue until the Midlands Comic Con closes at 5pm.
