BBC's Bargain Hunt is returning to Trevanion and Dean Auctioneers and Valuers, in Station Road, Whitchurch, on Saturday.

The action will unfold as presenter Anita Manning will lead the fun.

The show will see two teams take in their treasures to be independently valued before going in front of a dealer for a haggling battle.

The red and blue teams will battle it out, while being led by antique experts Thomas Plant and John Cameron.

The contestants previously found their treasures at Oswestry Antiques Fair and TV celebrity auctioneer Christina Trevanion said she believed the contestants hailed from the Shropshire area.

She said: "Bargain Hunt came twice last year so we are delighted to have them back.

"There are some really lovely items and a great mix.

"I am looking forward to meeting the teams and working out who picked what items.

"There is a mix of traditional and more eccentric.

"There are 35 lots which are part of our wider auction.

"It will be a great day."
