Sam Ferriday will be playing one of the main roles when the show opens December.

The show tells the true story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, going from four boys from the wrong side of the tracks to one of the most famous musical groups in history.

Selling more than 175 million records worldwide during their time, the show features recognisable hits including Beggin', Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Oh What a Night, Sherry, Walk Like a Man, Bye Bye Baby, Big Girls Don't Cry and many more.

Sam, 26, from Telford, will be playing the role of Bob Gaudio, the Four Seasons' keyboard player.

The former Thomas Telford school pupil, who's real name is Sam Jones, trained at Rose Bruford School of Speech and Drama and has previously appeared in HMS Pinafore in its UK tour and been part of the Blue Man Group.

Sam will be appearing on stage alongside Tim Driesden as Frankie Valli, Lewis Griffiths as Nick Massi, and Stephen Webb as Tony DeVito – putting the famous four-piece together.

The Jersey Boys show has won 55 major awards worldwide, including the Olivier Award for Best New Musical.

It originally opened on Broadway in 2006, receiving the Tony Award for Best Musical.

It has now been seen by over 19 million people worldwide and is one of the West End's longest running and most popular shows.
