Songs and dancing as guitar group entertains local residents
Community guitar group brings songs, smiles and plenty of dancing to Doddington Lodge
Residents at Doddington Lodge enjoyed an afternoon of live music when the St Mary's Tenbury Wells Guitar Group performed a lively two-hour concert at the home on Wednesday, August 26.
The group treated residents to a varied programme featuring music from across the decades and a range of genres, with many joining in by singing along, clapping to the beat and even taking to the floor for a dance.
The performance created a warm and uplifting atmosphere for residents, staff and the musicians alike, with the afternoon proving to be a hit with everyone involved.
The St Mary's Tenbury Wells Guitar Group regularly gives its time to perform free concerts at residential homes across the area, visiting communities from Ludlow and Tenbury Wells to Clee Hill.
Their visits aim to bring people together through music, offering entertainment and companionship while supporting residents' wellbeing.
