The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Charity event will take place at Wrekin College, Wellington, on Saturday, October 10.

Jackfield Brass Band and The Arts Centre Telford (TACT)’s community choir, A Choired Taste, will perform during the evening, with music ranging from popular songs from stage and screen to choral performances.

There will also be refreshments and a raffle, with all money raised going towards the charity’s Children’s Services Campaign.

The campaign supports projects aimed at improving the experience of children, young people and their families receiving care across The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.

One of the projects being funded is a sensory room and garden within the new Children’s Ward at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, which is due to open in 2028.

Julia Clarke, director of public participation, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Jackfield Brass Band again this year and also with A Choired Taste to bring our community together for an evening of fantastic entertainment.

“Every ticket purchased will help support our Children's Services Campaign and will make a real difference to children and families receiving care across our Trust. We hope you will join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening of music.”
