Shrewsbury care home invites community to open day

Mount House & Severn View care home in Shrewsbury will hold an open day for the local community on Saturday, October 24.

The event will run from 10am to 4pm, with visitors able to enjoy homemade cream cakes, meet staff and look around the home.

Vera Moreira, general manager at Mount House & Severn View, said the event would give people an opportunity to find out more about the home and ask questions about care.

She said: “Looking for care can be a little bit daunting, but our team here at Mount House & Severn View will do all we can to provide all of our guests with the guidance and support they may need, and answer all of their questions, big or small.”
