The Bracken Trust was established in Llandrindod Wells in 1996 to support people living with cancer, as well as their families, carers and bereaved relatives.

For 30 years, the Powys charity has provided information, support and advice from qualified nursing staff, alongside complementary therapies, counselling, massage and acupuncture.

It also offers holistic needs assessments, wellbeing and healthy living activities and social opportunities, helping people to live with, through and beyond cancer.

The £350 donation was presented by Linda Price, Lynne Stephens, Sabrina Davies, Sonia Bufton and Jo Jones to Liz Lewis, senior nurse at The Bracken Trust.
