Howard Ellett, sponsorship lead on the Oswestry Cricket Club executive committee, said the club was “delighted” to be working with Costa Coffee.

He said: “We're delighted to be working with Costa Coffee and are incredibly grateful for their support.

“As a community-focused club, we're proud to provide a welcoming space for people of all ages, both on and off the cricket field, and this sponsorship will help us continue investing in the facilities and experiences we offer local members, players and visitors.”

Club chairman James Bradbury said the new wicket covers would benefit the club for years to come.

He added: “The new wicket covers will be a valuable addition to our facilities and will benefit the club for years to come.

“We look forward to working with Costa Coffee and strengthening our connection with the local community.”

The sponsorship forms part of the club's efforts to continue developing its facilities and offering for the local community.
