Ludlow Town Council is organising a Halloween trail at Ludlow Market from October 29 to 31, with six spooky surprises hidden around the stalls for children to discover.

Young explorers can collect a trail sheet from the Silver Grill, participating traders or the Guildhall in Mill Street before searching the market for clues and collecting stamps.

Completed sheets can be entered into a prize draw by posting them in the Halloween collection box hosted by Mark at the Silver Grill on Friday and Saturday, or by dropping them off at the Guildhall.

Market traders are also being encouraged to join in by dressing up and decorating their stalls, with prizes for the best-dressed trader and best-dressed stall.

Meanwhile, Ludlow Museum at the Buttercross will be hosting Halloween-themed activities from October 23 to November 1.

Younger visitors can enjoy spooky crafts, puzzles and other seasonal activities as part of the museum’s Halloween celebrations.

Sunday, November 1, will also mark the launch of the museum’s new six-month trial of free entry Sundays, giving families another opportunity to explore Ludlow’s heritage.

The market trail and museum activities are designed to offer families different ways to enjoy Halloween in the town centre.
