The partnership will see representatives from both charities at the 2026 event, giving visitors the chance to learn more about the lifesaving work of their crews and how they can support the services.

The rally takes place in rural communities where air ambulance crews regularly respond to emergencies including serious road collisions, farming accidents and medical incidents.

Both charities provide specialist critical care to patients, often in remote locations where reaching hospital quickly can be vital.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has completed more than 80,000 missions since it was launched in 1991, while Wales Air Ambulance Charity has attended more than 57,700 incidents since 2001.

Neither charity receives day-to-day Government funding for its operations, relying instead on donations, volunteers, businesses and community support.

The Hills Ford Stages says the partnership is part of its wider commitment to supporting the communities that host the rally.

Visitors to the Rally Festival at Weston Park will be able to meet representatives from both charities throughout the weekend. They will also have the opportunity to learn lifesaving skills and find out more about how the organisations operate.

A rally spokesperson said: "The helicopters may be one of the most visible symbols of emergency care, but behind every mission is an incredible team of doctors, paramedics, pilots, fundraisers and volunteers.

"We hope our visitors will take the opportunity to learn more about their work because, while we all hope we'll never need them, we're all grateful they're there."
