The Big Summer Bash returns to Llandrindod Wells this August

The Big Summer Bash is returning to Llandrindod Wells Lakeside on Sunday, August 30 following the tremendous success of last year's event.

Set to be one of the highlights of the local summer calendar, the Big Summer Bash hosts a full day of entertainment, family fun, and community spirit, running from 12pm until 11.30pm.

Visitors can look forward to an exciting programme of activities and attractions, including a spectacular fireworks display, live music throughout the day and evening, family-friendly games and activities, a variety of food and drink and entertainment for all ages.

Live music will be provided by a range of artists during the day and evening including Out of Order Wales, The Jesters, Shop Front Heroes, Frosty and Meg, Tell Mother, 40 Miles Apart, Llandrindod Wells Community Children's Choir and Tyler Murdock.

Tickets are now on sale via Eventbrite, with a range of early bird offers available.

Tickets are £7.50 throughout July and £10 throughout August.

All tickets are subject to a booking fee.

With last year's event attracting strong support from the community, the team is encouraging people to book early to secure the best ticket prices and avoid disappointment – tickets sold out last year, so don’t miss out.

Lee Percy, Chair for Llandrindod Community Events, said: “We’re really pleased to bring the Big Summer Bash back for another year. The response last year was so positive, and we’re all working hard to make this year’s event even better.

“There’s something for everyone and it’s all topped off with a fantastic fireworks finale – everyone is welcome, as always.”

All money raised by LCE’s events is put straight back into the group’s budget for any future events. The group is run by staff from the Lakeside Boathouse, as well as local volunteers. They put on several events over the year, including Christmas events, dog shows, and the hugely successful Halloween spooktacular.
