Based on a true story, two down-on-their-luck musicians form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band, proving it's never too late to find love and follow your dreams.

Song Sung Blue is a 2025 American biographical musical drama film written, produced, and directed by Craig Brewer, based on the 2008 documentary film of the same name by Greg Kohs.

The film stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson as Mike and Claire Sardina, who performed as the Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder.

The film's cast also includes Michael Imperioli, Ella Anderson, King Princess, and Mustafa Shakir.

Hudson's performance garnered particular praise, and earned her nominations for the Golden Globe Award, Actor Award, BAFTA Award, and the Academy Award for Best Actress.

Song Sung Blue will be screened at The Old Picture House in Kington on Saturday, June 20 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £6.50 and they and more information is available by calling 07855 254590
