Celebrity traitors unsettled at round table after ‘death parade’ splits group

The mathematician had originally raised suspicion shortly after being recruited as a traitor.
Hannah Fry was banished and King Kenny was recruited in her place during Thursday’s episode of the Celebrity Traitors.
The 42-year-old received votes from the majority of the contestants on the BBC One show including both of her fellow traitors, Maya Jama and James Acaster.
The mathematician, who had originally raised suspicion shortly after being recruited as a traitor, told her fellow players: “I came in here with absolutely one job and one job only on my mind, which was to catch traitors.
“I calculated every conceivable scenario except for the one that actually unfolded… I am a traitor.”

During a confessional, Fry said: “My fellow traitors had to vote for me. It was so clearly going in that direction.
“I didn’t choose the traitor life, but oh my goodness me, that was so much fun.”
She follows in the footsteps of actor Richard E Grant, who was caught during the very first roundtable in the series after accidentally revealing he was a traitor.
After TV host Jama expressed concern that the traitors were “two down”, she and comedian Acaster chose to seduce King Kenny to take her place.
The YouTuber and boxer, real name Kenny Oghenovo Ojuederie, accepted their offer but after seeing his fellow traitors for the first time he asked for their loyalty.
The 29-year-old said: “Guys, just don’t do me dirty. Let’s try playing clean game where all three of us get to the final.”

Speaking to the camera, he added: “I think being a faithful was fun, but being a traitor is going to be better.
“The faithful are doomed!”
The episode also saw players challenged with a mission to open a series of gates in order to take a growing pile of gold towards host Claudia Winkleman.
The contestants were followed by a menacing army of marching hooded figures named “the death parade”, who would trap individuals in a cage until the next roundtable if they were caught.

After sacrificing themselves for their fellow players, all three traitors – Jama, Fry and Acaster – were locked away, along with faithfuls Romesh Ranganathan, Jerry Hall and Joanne McNally.
This meant the other celebrities could complete the challenge and add £8,000 to the prize pot.
The episode also revealed that Rob Beckett had become the latest victim of the traitors after being murdered face-to-face during a deadly game of hide-and-seek.
Speaking during a confessional after his murder, the 40-year-old comedian joked that his death was “good news” for the faithful as he had “no chance” of guessing who the traitors were.

Referencing his fellow comedian and close friend, he added: “However, if I know one thing, my boy Romesh Ranganathan will avenge my death, and he will get them.”
“I feel like I let Rob Beckett down,” Ranganathan said following the news that his friend had been killed off the show.
“Rob is so unthreatening that he’s never going to get banished.
“I’m sad. It’s not going to be the same without him.”
Celebrity Traitors continues on BBC One on Friday at 8pm.
