Peregrine Circus brings immersive theatre show, Belly of the Whale to Mid Wales
Peregrine Circus is bringing an immersive theatre show called Belly of the Whale to venues in Mid Wales.
They return this year with an expanded run of performances, bringing its distinctive blend of contemporary circus, theatre and live music to a growing network of towns and coastal communities.
They will be bringing Belly of the Whale to King George V field in Brecon from today Thursday, July 16 to 19, to Llandrindod Wells lake from July 23 to August 2 and to the Park in Newtown from August 6 to 9.
Founded in North Wales, Peregrine Circus brings together international performers,
musicians and visual artists to create live work that sits between circus, theatre, and
immersive storytelling.
Known for its carefully crafted atmosphere and emotionally driven performances, the company has built a reputation for shows that feel intimate in scale while expansive in imagination.
The new tour marks a significant step in Peregrine’s development, bringing their traditional big-top tent to several new locations while maintaining the intimate, audience-first approach that defines the company’s work.
The expansion reflects increasing demand for live performance that is both ambitious in scale and personal in feeling.
With new locations added to the tour, Peregrine Circus continues to extend its reach while remaining rooted in the communities that shaped its beginnings.
Each performance is designed as a singular event: fleeting, immersive, and created to be experienced collectively.
Belly of the Whale invites audiences young and old to leave the everyday on the shore and
dive deep into an oceanic myth, where stories are reborn and magic stirs in the deep.
Not everything that drifts reaches the shore, but this one found you...
Escape the Ordinary.
Tickets are now available on different dates and at different times via the Peregrine Circus website at https://www.peregrinecircus.com/. Early booking is recommended due to limited seating and strong advance interest.
