Pantydwr Show 2026 set for a fantastic family day out
The countdown is on for the annual Pantydwr Show, which returns on Saturday, August 15 2026.
It will be held at Pencraig Fields, with the kind permission of Ms B.L. Meredith, Mrs A. Everton, and Mr H. Powell and family.
A highlight of the local calendar, the show promises a full day of agricultural competitions, family entertainment and community spirit, with something for visitors of all ages.

The horticultural section, held at Pantydwr Hall, will once again showcase a wide range of exhibits, including farm produce, cookery, preserves, flower arranging and children's classes.
The official opening of the show will take place at 12.45pm by this year's President, Mr Raymond Rees.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mr Rees said: "It is a privilege to return as President for the 2026 Pantydwr Show. The show has gone from strength to strength, and it has been wonderful to see the local community pulling together to make it such a success. I look forward to welcoming everyone for what promises to be another fantastic day."

The action on the show field begins with horse classes at 11am, followed by sheep judging at 12 noon.
The afternoon programme includes at 1pm the dog show, a baby show at 2pm, children's sports at 3pm and new for 2026: a Revvi Bikes competition at 4pm with a crowd-pleasing sheep shearing competition at 5pm.
There will also be plenty of attractions running throughout the day, including bouncy castles, face painting, a giant gladiator joust, vintage tractors and Play Radnor activities.
Visitors will be well catered for throughout the day with refreshments available from Slice of Radnor, the ever-popular show tea ladies, and Dan and Tom Ice Cream.

A licensed bar will also be available, kindly provided by Penmaenau.
Admission to the show is £5 for adults and £2 for school children, making it an affordable and enjoyable day out for the whole family.
The celebrations continue into the evening with live entertainment from Frosty and Meg, performing from 7pm until 9pm.
The Pantydwr Show Committee would like to extend its sincere thanks to everyone who helps make the show possible each year.
Special thanks go to the Vice Presidents for their continued support, everyone who advertises in the show schedule, the generous sponsors, St Harmon Community Council, the Bryn Titli Fund, the exhibitors, competitors, volunteers and stewards, and everyone who gives their time and support before, during and after the show.
A show spokesperson said: “Your generosity, hard work and commitment ensure that Pantydwr Show continues to thrive and remain a much-loved community event. Whether you're exhibiting, competing or simply looking for a great family day out, Pantydwr Show 2026 promises a wonderful celebration of rural life and community. Everyone is warmly invited to come along and enjoy a fantastic day.”
