Meet and greet for Red Arrows as well as aerial thrills at RAF Cosford Air Show
They are the Top Guns of the RAF. The Red Arrows team takes its dazzling display across the globe each summer.
But pilot, Graeme Muscat, AKA Red 10, says it is shows like RAF Cosford that he and the other crew members really enjoy.
"There are not many shows where we get the chance to be on the ground and are able to talk to the visitors before our display," he said.
"It has been great to meet the crowds today and speak to as many people as we can."
The Red Arrows team, pilots and ground crew, were helicoptered into the air show from RAF Shawbury, in North Shropshire where their planes were waiting for the display.
After chatting and having photos taken with as many visitors as they could it was back into the chopper and back to Shawbury.
Graeme said: "It is wonderful to hopefully inspire the next generation of RAF personnel."
He joined the RAF in 1995 as a technician spending this first three years learning his trade.
He then began flying and enjoyed taking the controls of Nimrods and Tornados before joining the Red Arrows.
"The display season is pretty tough," he said.
"We are away from our families for much of that time and, particularly on hot days like today you can get fatigued very quickly."
"But we are very honoured to have this role."
