Tom Crawford has last laugh as Altrincham beat Hartlepool
The former Pools player scored a late winner.
Tom Crawford haunted his former club Hartlepool as a late goal earned Altrincham a 2-1 win in the National League.
Kane Hemmings’ 28th-minute penalty put the hosts ahead after an infringement in the box.
Jamie Miley levelled for Pools before the break when he headed home Brooklyn Ilunga’s inviting cross.
But Jack Hunter’s 74th-minute red card, for two bookings, proved decisive as Crawford, who spent four years with Pools, produced an impressive finish nine minutes from time.
