Wolves targeting move for Spanish defender
Wolves are targeting a move for Spanish right back Marc Pubill, the Express & Star understands.

The 22-year-old is a firm target to improve Wolves' defence this summer, with Nelson Semedo unlikely to stay after becoming a free agent.
Early talks have taken place and Wolves are keen on the Spanish youth international, who currently plays for Almeria in the second division.
He managed one goal and five assists in 40 appearances in all competitions last season and is also attracting interest from other clubs in Europe.

Pubill came through at Levante before joining Almeria in 2023 and he played four times for Spain in the recent under-21s European Championships.
He started and played the full 90 minutes against England, as Spain lost 3-1 in the quarter-finals.
Wolves have so far added Fer Lopez to their squad and are working on a deal for Jhon Arias, among a number of other positions as they look to strengthen the squad.
The club are expected to add another defender to fill the right-wing-back spot, hence the interest in Pubill, with Semedo likely to depart.
The skipper, who is currently a free agent, was offered a four-year contract to stay at Molineux but the player has taken the summer to decide on his next move.
That decision has not been made public by the player and he is yet to sign for another club and in the meantime, Wolves have been preparing for life without the 31-year-old.
It is expected that Semedo will not return, having already moved out of his Wolverhampton home and recorded a goodbye video, and Wolves have been working on potential replacements.
However, the player is still yet to communicate his decision publicly and sign with a new club, which would give the club and supporters closure on the situation.
Semedo joined Wolves for an initial £27.5million from Barcelona in 2020, following the sale of Matt Doherty to Spurs, and he split opinion with his early performances.
But he soon became a regular and consistent performer under several managers, leading to the two-year contract extension being triggered in 2023.
Semedo was then handed the captaincy last year by Gary O'Neil when Mario Lemina was stripped of it and finished the season on a high after helping the club secure Premier League safety.
Pereira was keen for the experienced defender to sign a new deal but it now seems likely that his Wolves career will come to an end.
Wolves are currently in Portugal on a pre-season training camp, where they narrowly lost 2-1 to Santa Clara in a behind closed doors training game on Tuesday.
