Wolves accept offer for striker from Premier League rivals

Wolves have accepted a bid from Crystal Palace for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.

The London club have offered £43milllion and £5million in add-ons to sign the Norwegian striker and a deal is expected to be done before the transfer window closes at 7pm on Monday.

A number of clubs have been chasing Larsen's signature and Leeds had a bid turned down earlier in the window, but Palace advanced talks this week, with agent Jorge Mendes acting as an intermediary on Wolves' behalf.

A £45million plus £5million deal was being discussed, but a slightly reduced offer of £43million was officially tabled and Wolves quickly accepted it.

Wolves knocked back bids of £50million and £55million from Newcastle in the summer but Larsen has struggled so far this season, scoring just one Premier League goal for the top flight's bottom club.
