"We can’t waste money" - Wolves boss targeting shrewd summer additions
Vitor Pereira has saved Wolves from relegation and he is already working on taking them to the next level.

The head coach is eager to finish the final three games of the season well, but he also has one eye on the summer and the direction he must take this team.
With a clear strategy and idea of the kind of players he wants - both from a technical perspective and personality point of view - his challenge will be balancing the side.
Matheus Cunha is expected to depart with a £62.5million release clause in his contract and while there will be money to spend, owners Fosun are expected to continue their self-sustaining policy in the transfer window.
That means Wolves must be clever about the players they sign and those they let go.
“If it’s possible, I want to keep almost the whole squad," Pereira said.
"Of course, at the end of the season, you will find some players are not happy because they are not playing and they want to play.
“There will be players who want to move, we’ll have players that maybe in the way we are playing, they feel they haven’t got the space to play.
“So we need to have an honest conversation, putting everything on the table and to have decisions.
"I hope we can do good work together because to move forward and to make the next step, we don’t need millions and millions we need to have intelligence.
"Find players with the profile that we need, if we find the right players and we create the right spirit, in this small town with these people it’s easier.
"It’s easier when you know the way we want to play, we know the profile of players that we want to get and we start to look for players.
"We have the first option, second option, third option, fourth option. One of them must come but if someone comes that we don’t know, we don’t know if they can play in our way, these are the mistakes we can’t make.
"We can’t waste money if we don’t have a lot of money."
Pereira was heavily involved in the players Wolves signed in January, alongside sporting director Matt Hobbs and chairman Jeff Shi and the head coach is adamant that he must be consulted on any future transfer that takes place.
The boss also wants to keep Nelson Semedo and while there are talks over his future, the captain is still likely to go and Pereira insisted the club will target a senior addition if he does leave.
If Cunha, Semedo and Pablo Sarabia do all depart, that will mean Wolves' top three highest paid players have left the club.
That is not expected to be a sticking point for Pereira, provided the club make smart additions in the window. If done correctly, the head coach is positive about the future.
"I didn’t come to England just to avoid relegation, if you look at my career, this is not my career," he added.
“Of course, in a small city at a smaller club, we cannot make mistakes (in the transfer market).
“We must be better than the others, being a small organisation gives us the opportunity to be better.
“I believe if we make the right steps next season, we can be in the middle of the table.
“And after, if we make another step forward, with good decisions, we can think (about going higher). It depends.
“I don’t have a crystal ball. We need to see what will happen. The plan is to finish in the best position we can this season, then look for next season.
“In the summer we will see if we can make the right decisions and get the right players to rebuild, to make this team stronger.
“I believe this is not about a lot of money, it’s about selecting the right targets and to move forward and do a good job to get them.
“And in the end, to start not from zero but start from what we created until now, and to increase our level."
