Albion set to sign Liverpool youngster

West Brom are reportedly set to sign highly rated Liverpool youngster Carter Pinnington this summer.

Reports suggest Pinnington has rejected a contract extension with the Reds and is poised to join Albion.

The 19-year-old defender is highly regarded within Liverpool's academy but looks set to move on after 12 years with the club's youth setup.

According to reports, West Brom have won the race for the teenager's signature and have reached an agreement on personal terms.

The move would see Pinnington link up with former Liverpool defender Nat Phillips at The Hawthorns.

Pinnington made 27 appearances for Liverpool's under-21s last season, including two outings in the EFL Trophy.

Albion linked with another Premier League starlet

Albion are also reportedly in advanced talks to sign Jimmy-Jay Morgan from Chelsea, according to the Yorkshire Post.

The 20-year-old, who has also been linked with Sheffield United, can operate as an attacking midfielder or forward.

Morgan spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Peterborough United in League One, scoring 14 goals in all competitions.

Buendia interest

Reports in Turkey suggest Galatasaray are monitoring the situation of Aston Villa midfielder Emiliano Buendia.

It has been reported that Villa are set to hold talks with the Argentina international over a new contract after the end of June, with his current deal due to expire in 2027.

According to reports, Galatasaray could consider Buendia as part of any potential deal involving midfielder Gabriel Sara, who has been linked with a move to Villa Park.

Sancho tipped for Premier League stay

Former Villa loanee Jadon Sancho is reportedly keen to remain in the Premier League amid ongoing uncertainty over his future.

The 26-year-old has been linked with interest from Turkish side Besiktas, but reports suggest his preference is to continue his career in England rather than move abroad.
