A late goal in Azerbaijan has given The New Saints a tough assignment in the second leg of their Champions League first qualifying round clash with Baku Sabah.
After a closely fought first half, Veljko Simic put the home side ahead with a header midway through the second half.
But the Oswestry side would have had high hopes of turning around the deficit in next Tuesday's home leg.
However, it became a much bigger task when they conceded again six minutes from the end of normal time. Simic was the provider this time as he set up
Kaheem Parris to fire home a right-footed shot.
Sabah, though, will be without Steve Solvet for the Shropshire leg after he was given a second yellow card for a serious foul in the dying minutes.
The second leg kicks off at Park Hall Stadium on Tuesday at 6.30pm/.
