Will Brook

Lost the race to the ball for the first goal, but no chance with either the second or the third and made some good saves.

Exposed: 5

Tom Sang

Busy, but forced back by Lewis McCann rather than being able to get up in support of the front three more often.

Untidy: 5

Tom Anderson

Could not get out to McCann to close the ball down quick enough and, along with the rest of the defence, was slow to react in certain situations.

Hesitant: 5

Sam Stubbs

Lucky not to be credited with an own goal after diverting the ball past Brook on the edge of his own six-yard box.

Deflection: 5

Will Boyle

Salop needed someone to grab the defence by the scruff of the neck, but Boyle and his colleagues could not step up.

Quiet: 5

Sam Clucas

Looked the most likely to make things happen and tried to work opportunities with Scully, but there was little in the way of help ahead of them.

Persevered: 6

Tommy McDermott

Was left chasing shadows as he struggled to get to grips with Fleetwood's central midfielders and did not affect the game going forward.

Overrun: 4

Josh Ruffels

Very quiet first half, but improved after the break and almost set up a grandstand finish when he flashed one just wide late on.

Improved: 5

Ismeal Kabia

Was Town's main centre forward for the majority of the game. Looked uncertain in that role, but did score his first for the club.

Scored: 6

Anthony Scully

No magic on this occasion from the man in form - but he did almost draw Salop level on the stroke of half-time when he hit the post.

Woodwork: 5

John Marquis

Started up front, but could not get hold of the ball, so dropped further back and was then subbed midway through the second half.

Poor: 4

Substitutes

Taylor Perry (for McDermott 66) Poor clearance cost Town the third goal 4; Luca Hoole (for McDermott 66) Shored up the right-hand side and offered a threat 5; Chuks Aneke (for Marquis 66) Had a header saved late on 5. Not used: Harrison, Benning, England, Gray.
