Knighton Town take pride of place after stunning season
Radnor Robins finish in top two and win cup
It has been another successful season for our local clubs across Brecon and Radnorshire with a number of title successes and cup final appearances.

Pride of place goes to Knighton Town, who narrowly missed out on promotion to JD Cymru North, just 12 months after securing a return to tier three of the domestic pyramid.
The Radnor Robins were celebrating being crowned MMP Central Wales League (South) at the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign and perhaps some observers were not expecting them to challenge for promotion in their debut season in Lock Stock North East.
However, Harry Stokes' charges made a great start to life back in tier three and were in pursuit of league leaders Llanuwchllyn by the time the festive season arrived.

The Bryn-y-Castell club suffered a dip in form during March and April, but bounced back by winning three of their final four matches to secure the runners-up berth and a meeting with Porthmadog in the promotion play-off at Park Avenue.
The Radnor Robins went behind to the former top-flight club just before the interval and two late goals ultimately ended Knighton Town's hopes of back-to-back promotions.
There was some consolation for the border club, as goals from Kieran Bovey and Luke Boundford, saw them defeat league rivals Llandrindod Wells 2-0 in the Aspidistra Radnorshire Cup final.
The Radnor Robins also negotiated their way to the semi-finals of the League Cup before going down at eventual winners Bangor City 1876.
Radnor Valley narrowly missed out on a top-half of the table finish after failing to record a victory in their final four league fixtures.
Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells both narrowly escaped relegation.

It was a season of mixed fortunes for Brecon Corries in Elite Stands UK Ardal South East.
The Rich Field club would have finished in seventh position had they not suffered a 15-point deduction for fielding an ineligible player.
Rhayader Towm were the region's sole representatives in MMP Central Wales League (South).
The Red Kites enjoyed a solid campaign in the tier four league, finishing in third position behind champions Ffostrasol Wanderers and Lampeter Town, but that was not enough to secure promotion to Lock Stock Ardal North East.
Following a couple of tough seasons, Hay St Mary's had something to celebrate after being crowned Watson Financial Mid Wales League (South) champions, having been pursued by Brecon FC and Talgarth Town for the majority of the campaign.
Although it was Rhayader Town Reserves who eventually secured second spot ahead of Talgarth Town by a single point.
The Royals gained some consolation when they overcame the champions on penalties in the Pip Samuel (Electrical) Mid Wales (South) League Cup on the Lant Field.
It was Talgarth Town's first success in the competition for 17 years, when they were know as Gwernyfed.

Newcastle finished in fifth position in the Montgomeryshire Amateur League and local rivals Felindre concluded the campaign one place off the bottom of the table. Although the Millers gained some consolation by defeating Berriew Development 2-1 in the Bernie Jones Memorial Trophy final.
The hosts won the men's competition at Penybont Cup week and Berriew retained the women's crown. Penybont United were unable to retain their Hummel Herefordshire Women's League crown but were able to enjoy a third-place finish.
Talgarth Town consolidated after securing promotion to the First Division of the South Wales Women's League 12 months ago. The Royals finished inside the top-half of table and scored an impressive 83 goals from their 22 league fixtures.
