Guilsfield's rotten form continues with eighth defeat in nine

Guilsfield’s run without a win in all competitions has stretched to nine games - as they were beaten 3-0 on the road at Airbus.

Gavin Allen’s men have seen their form drop off a cliff since the end of January and they have lost seven of their last eight games in the Cymru North.

Their run and latest result has seen them drop down to seventh in the table.

It was all square at the break at the Airfield - but two goals in the space of two minutes at the start of the second period took the game away from the Guils.

Joe Palmer opened the scoring before striker Danny Warren added a second just moments later.

The third then came 16 minutes from the end of normal time when George Peers set up Jake Roberts to complete the scoring.

It was a bad day all round for Mid Wales sides - as Caersws were beaten 1-0 at home to leaders Llandudno.

Sws had got back to winning ways last week - having been dragged into a relegation scrap.

They put up a good fight at home to the Seasiders but were undone by a 71st minute strike from veteran forward Marc Williams.

They still remain two points above the bottom two though - as Penrhyncoch’s recent revival was stunted, as they were beaten 1-0 at home to Holywell Town.
