A calming influence once again. Made a mistake in the first half with Pierre getting him out of the mud, and could then do little about the goal really.

Luca Hoole 6

Got caught out of position twice early on, but grew into the game. Went close with a cross come shot, and put in a dangerous cross in the first half. Will be disappointed he didn't do better with the goal.

Mal Benning 6

Good, dangerous deliveries that put the pressure on for Salop. Between him and Shipley they were both caught out of position for the goal as Huddersfield attacked down the right.

Morgan Feeney 7

A composed display from the defender, who was dangerous from set pieces as he had one hooked off the line. Didn't look overly tested throughout and won his aerial battles.

Josh Feeney 7

Another top display from the loanee, who looks at home at the heart of the three man backline. Always a threat with set pieces and dealt with the Huddersfield threat well.

Aaron Pierre 8

A solid display from the returning defender. Commanding in the air defensively, and spared his keeper's blushes by nodding one off the line. Dangerous at set players to, with first contacts and flick ons.

Funso Ojo 7

A gritty display from the midfielder. Won his battles, fired into big tackles and headers and recovered well at times when it looked like Salop were a bit overrun.

Alex Gilliead 8

Involved in a lot of Salop's best moments in the game. He put in a few quality forward runs in the first half, one that led to a big Marquis chance. Worked hard, put in a shift defensively and always tried to get involved going forward.

Dom Gape 6

A hard working display from Gape, who nicked into tackles and just broke up attacks from the visitors. Did concede possession on a couple of occasions and one almost proved very costly for Town.

George Lloyd 8

Work rate was second to none as always. In the air, was an issue for visiting defenders all night. Had a decent look at goal in the first half, and in the second just couldn't get one out of his feet. Then struck the bar in the second with Salop well on top.

John Marquis 6

Superb tracking back on a few occasions. Fired a difficult chance wide in the first half, but linked up well with Lloyd a few times. Marked down as was poor in possession a few times. Salop were in advanced areas and his slack passing saw moves snuffed out and allowed Huddersfield to break.
