They returned a winning score of 44 points, one ahead of runners-up were Jacob Parry (Arscott) & Henry Gurney (Leominster), while brothers George and Owen Davies from The Grove were third with 42 points and Connor Hitchinson & Josie Woodhall (The Grove) fourth with 41.

The S&H senior teams played against Worcestershire, with the firsts beaten at Kidderminster and the seconds winning at home at Wrekin GC.
These were the first matches this year where the teams played in their new clothing sponsored by the company Axon and continued sponsorship by Telford Hotel Spa & Golf Resort.
The first team lost 3-2 in the morning foursomes and 7-3 in the afternoon singles to go down 10-5 overall, while the seconds followed up a foursomes defeat of 3.5-1.5 by taking the singles 7-3 to win 8.5-6.5.
Under-18s

The county’s under-18s Midland League fixtures have also got under way - and they dominated neighbours Staffordshire to win 8.5-3.5 at Shrewsbury Golf Club.
There were wins in the morning foursomes session from captain Zach Banks (Shifnal) & Harry Slater (Wrekin), Telford pair Ben Steventon & Brodie Miller and Louie Carroll (Wrekin) & Alfie Daniels (Wrekin), while Oscar Powell (Burghill Valley) & Jack Dirkin (Wrekin) managed a well-earned half-point.
S&H added five more points in the afternoon singles through Banks, Slater, Miller, Powell and Dirkin.
