Fresh bid expected as Fabio Silva nears Wolves exit
Wolves are bracing themselves for a fresh bid from Borussia Dortmund as the clubs negotiate the sale of Fabio Silva.

The German club are pushing to sign the striker, who has been available to leave Wolves this summer.
Dortmund have now had three bids rejected for the 23-year-old, with the latest one in excess of £17million, but it is understood Wolves value Silva at more than £21.5million and they would also require add-ons on top of that.
The two clubs remain in active negotiations over the sale of Silva, but Wolves are currently not budging on their valuation and they are expecting Dortmund to return with another bid.
There is hope that the deal can be completed soon, with a desire on all sides to reach an agreement.
The striker is attracting interest from a number of clubs, including German side RB Leipzig and Italian team Roma, but it is understood reports of Silva agreeing personal terms with those clubs is wide of the mark.
It is believed that Dortmund have already got the green light from Silva and his representatives, which includes a five-year deal to join them.
Wolves are keen to recoup as much as possible for a forward that cost them £35million in 2020 and talks are still active with the German club.
Silva was with Vitor Pereira's side on pre-season and travelled with the team for their training camp in Portugal. He also travelled with the team to friendlies in the UK.
However, he has not played in any of the matches as he was rehabilitating from an injury
The forward is now back in training but is unlikely to feature for Wolves as the season starts this weekend.
He has one year left on his Wolves contract, with the option to extend that by a further year, but the Portuguese international is now expected to depart permanently.
Wolves broke their transfer record to buy 18-year-old Silva from Porto in 2020 and he went on to score four Premier League goals in his first season, before struggling the following year and failing to score in 22 top flight appearances.
The first two of his four loan spells away from Wolves then came in 2022/23 at Belgian side Anderlecht and Dutch team PSV Eindhoven.
He left again for the second half of the following season, joining Scottish side Rangers, before spending last year at Las Palmas.
It was at the Spanish side that Silva enjoyed his most successful loan spell to date, scoring 10 goals in 24 La Liga games.
It is now expected that Silva has played his final match for Wolves and if a permanent deal goes through, he will finish his Wolves career with five goals and six assists in 72 games.
Only four of those goals came in the Premier League, which were all in his debut season, meaning his last English top flight strike was in a 1-1 draw at Albion in May 2021.
A strike against Blackpool in the Carabao Cup in August 2023 is now expected to be his final Wolves goal.
