Wolves to rebuff interest in star players
Wolves will rebuff offers for key men this summer as the transfer window draws to a close.

Fabio Silva, Matheus Nunes, Hwang Hee-chan and Mario Lemina have been linked with moves away in recent days, but Wolves are determined to hold on to crucial members of Gary O’Neil’s squad.
It would take inflated offers for Wolves to even consider selling that quartet, or any other important first team player.
The club would like to add some depth to the squad before the window closes, but are currently looking at loans or smaller transfer fees until they can offload Daniel Podence and Jonny Castro Otto.
Aside from that pair, Wolves are keen to keep the rest of squad together as they look to tackle the rest of the Premier League season.
Meanwhile, Wolves’ buy-back clause for Ryan Giles will allow them to match the bid of any other club that comes in for him in the future.
The academy graduate was sold to newly-promoted Luton in July for £5million, with a buy-back option included.
That buy-back option does not include a specific figure, but instead means Luton must make Wolves aware of any bids and gives Wolves the opportunity to match or counter the offer. The deal also had a substantial sell-on clause, meaning if Wolves do not re-sign Giles when he leaves Luton, they will benefit financially from the deal.
Giles progressed through Wolves’ academy system and racked up more than 200 senior appearances over several loan spells away from the club.
