Wolves in talks over new Jose Sa deal while no second Manchester City bid for Matheus Nunes
Wolves are in talks with goalkeeper Josa Sa over a new contract.

The Portugal international was among several players linked with a possible Molineux exit this summer but the club are increasingly hopeful of agreeing fresh terms.
Sa signed a five-year contract when he joined for £6.25million from Olympiacos two years ago and was voted player of the season in his first campaign.
Though his second year struggled to consistently hit the same heights, he was back to his very best in Saturday’s 1-0 win at Everton, producing a stunning save to deny Abdoulaye Doucoure when the game was goal-less.
Sa has been working closely with new goalkeeping coach Neil Cutler, who is confident he can further improve the 30-year-old's game.
While Sa appears set to commit to Wolves, the future of midfielder Matheus Nunes remains uncertain as the transfer window enters its final days.
Reports on Sunday night claiming Manchester City has submitted a second bid of £52m for the 25-year-old are understood to have been premature, with sources close to Wolves insisting the club are yet to receive one.
An opening offer of £47m was rejected last week as it fell short of Wolves’ valuation for Nunes, who joined from Sporting Lisbon last summer for a deal worth £42m.
