Steve Bull: Wolves will miss international stars
It is a big miss for Wolves to lose Hwang Hee-chan and Rayan Ait-Nouri, who are two influential players that have made a big impact on the starting XI.

They compliment the team perfectly and Hwang’s goals will be missed, but we have players coming back and hopefully they will all step up and take the shirt. Make Hwang and Ait-Nouri fight for it when they get back!
Tommy Doyle did that against Everton. Players are coming in from the cold and not chucking their dummies out the pram, they’re just getting on with it.
That’s down to Gary O’Neil and his man management. They have respect for each other and Wolves are getting the best out of everybody.
The team have exceeded expectations. With the size of squad we have the first task was to avoid relegation.
It’s not all over yet, they still have to stay focused and we won’t win every game, but we have to stay consistent and stick together.
Right now, we have a very good chance of finishing in the top half of the table if we continue this momentum in the league.
It’s a bit premature to be talking about Europe, just take every game as it comes and don’t get too excited just yet.
But it’s been a good time to be a Wolves fan over Christmas and New Year!
I can’t remember a time where we’ve had this many points over the festive period, it was unbelievable.
People are pinching themselves at the moment but we do have the makings of a good side, with a good manager, and everyone around the club is excited.
In recent games we’ve leaked silly goals, but we seemed to have tightened that up, and at the other end we’ve fixed our problem with scoring goals.
It was nice to see Max Kilman and Craig Dawson getting among the goals against Everton too, to ease the burden on the forwards. The pair really deserve it, they’ve been excellent.
Finally, I’d like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and best wishes for 2024.
