Steve Bull: Wolves have to turn those positives into a win
Before the Man City game everyone was worried about them turning us over, but we surprised quite a few people.

It was always going to be a tough game because they are so strong and in my eyes it was a game of two halves.
If we had gone 2-0 up with Nelson Semedo’s chance, it could have been very different.
Jorgen Strand Larsen is a proper number nine who scored a good goal, but I would like to see him spend more time occupying the defenders and using his energy up front, rather than dropping too deep.
Semedo did well down the right with a good cross, Larsen finished superbly and I think there are more goals in him to come.
I was a bit aggrieved with City’s winner. Bernardo Silva nudges Jose Sa and takes his attention off the corner. But you have to move on from the VAR controversy and focus on your football.
The gaffer knows we played well and defended well. We now have to turn those positives into a win.
Going to Brighton will be tough, but with the same side and format I think we’ll get something from the game.
We need to get points on the board quickly and by the end of November we’ll know where we are, having played a lot of teams around us.
If you get one win there is often a snowball effect where you build some momentum and go on a good run.
I thought the City performance was well constructed and defensively sound, but we were very unlucky.
We have to lick our wounds and keep playing in the same way.
The crowd were behind Gary O’Neil and they need to keep that up.
But they can only do that for so long because we need points on the board.
The next few weeks offer a huge opportunity for Wolves to do just that.
