Steve Bull: Boss backing right call but Wolves changes needed
Wolves are standing by Gary O’Neil and it is definitely the right decision.

It doesn’t all go wrong overnight and be careful what you wish for – Wolves need to stick by him.
I wish he had more money to make changes in the transfer window too, but O’Neil is the right man for the job.
But looking back on the Brentford loss, I have to say, it was a bit embarrassing.
The defending was a shambles. If you score three goals you need to come away with at least a point, if not win the game, and Wolves were so poor in defence.
Defending from set-pieces is a problem and we are still thin on the ground with centre-backs.
In my opinion, we have to change to a back three now.
When we played that formation in the past we always looked more comfortable and solid.
We’re currently playing wing-backs at full-back and it’s making us more vulnerable.
O’Neil will be scratching his head on how to fix it, but Wolves will pick their heads up and they know what they need to do to put it right.
It will be tough to put it right against Manchester City, but they have to give it a good go.
I’m glad O’Neil has the international break to take stock. It will be an important period for him.
If you’re winning games you don’t want the break to come, you’d rather keep the momentum going, but in Wolves’ form it will be good to recharge and get ready for the next few games.
Wolves have the players to turn it around.
Man City and Brighton are two very tough games, but then you have to look at November where we’re playing the teams around us.
We need to try and get something out of these games and Jorgen Strand Larsen will be important for us.
He’s a natural number nine, he’s tall and puts himself about. He isn’t afraid to put his body on the line.
We just need to get him the ball more and he will score goals.
