Following the loss to West Ham, Liam Keen rates the players on their performance.

Jose Sa - 5

The goalkeeper will have prepared for the threat of Ward-Prowse and although it was a somewhat freakish goal, Sa has to do better and be more commanding in his area.

Nelson Semedo - 6

Aside from one silly moment in the first half, Semedo had a solid enough game.

Santi Bueno - 6

The defender had some good times in possession, but still needs to do more work on his positioning.

Max Kilman - 5

The defender was on for a higher rating and should have had an equaliser, but he is marked down slightly for giving away the penalty. He cannot have his arm outstretched like that.

Toti Gomes - 6

One of the players that makes Wolves tick, Toti was involved in several good moments, and then played a bad part in West Ham’s penalty.

Matt Doherty - 5

Doherty had a very good first half but his level dropped in the second half. He played an even bigger part in West Ham’s penalty with a silly pass that caught Toti out.

Mario Lemina - 6

Similar to his team-mates – a good first half and poorer second. Lemina was absolutely shattered.

Joao Gomes - 6

A hard-working performance, but Gomes lost his way when it became hectic. He needed to get a foot on the ball and calm it down.

Rayan Ait-Nouri - 7

It was unfortunate he came off with a knock, considering how well he was playing. The best player on the pitch for the first 45.

Pablo Sarabia - 6

He may have scored a good penalty, but Sarabia’s overall play was quite poor. He was not involved very often.

Tommy Doyle - 7

Out on the left flank, Doyle did really well in the first half and he stayed consistent. A good display from the midfielder.
