'Get creative': £19m Wolves winger update after impressive spell back in Spain
The £19m Wolves winger has spent the second half of the campaign with his former club.
Fer Lopez was Wolves’ star signing of last summer - but has spent half of the campaign back on loan at his former club.
Lopez arrived at Molineux for £19m but failed to live up to his hefty price tag.
The young winger, who arrived from Celta Vigo, managed just 12 appearances across all competitions for Wolves.
He made just two Premier League starts and two in the EFL Cup - before he was repeatedly linked with a swift loan move away in January.
Late in the window a deal was struck for Lopez to return to his former club - and he has enjoyed a better spell back in Spain.
He netted a stunning goal with the outside of his foot in the Europa League - and has featured 20 times, netting twice for the La Liga side.
Lopez has helped them into the Conference League spots for next season - with the club still pushing for a Europa League place.

With Wolves set for a summer clear out as they look to re-build for life in the Championship - it is likely Lopez’s future could be away from Molineux.
He penned a five year deal on his arrival, which still has four years left to run on it.
But Celta Vigo have already made their intentions clear in wanting Lopez to return in the summer.
In an interview with DAZN, the club’s sporting director Marco Garces said the club were going to ‘get creative’ in exploring options to re-sign Lopez.
He said: “From our perspective, it’s up to us to make every possible effort.
“To try and find those options, get creative, and explore possibilities until the summer is over.”
